Is the free version actually free?
Yes. It’s on WordPress.org, with no trial, no account and no limit on walkthroughs.
Do I need Pro to hand a site over to a client?
No. Dashboard walkthroughs for your clients are free. Pro is for tours on the website itself, for visitors and customers, plus invite links and branding.
What does the AI see?
Only the names of the buttons and links you clicked, what kind of control each one is, and the page name. Never anything typed into a form.
What if the site changes after I record?
Baton looks for the same element again, first by where it was and then by its label. If it’s gone, the step shows in the middle of the screen so the tour keeps going.
What happens if I stop paying for Pro?
Your walkthroughs stay put and dashboard tours keep working. The Pro parts, like website tours, invites and branding, switch off until you renew.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 30 days, for any reason. Just send me an email.
